Quarterback Zach Wilson and the New York Jets’ offense looked inept on Sunday in a 10-3 loss to the rival New England Patriots.

Wilson completed nine of his 22 pass attempts for 77 yards. He was sacked four times. He denied letting his defense down in the postgame presser.

After the game, Wilson reportedly unnerved several teammates by acting like he “wasn’t the problem,” according to SNY.

Wilson’s stance at the postgame news conference wasn’t just to spurn the media. Sources inside the Jets’ losing locker room told SNY that Wilson was walking around after the game “like he isn’t the problem.” It rubbed more than a few the wrong way, frustrating several others.

The NFL world was quick to react to the horrible Jets news:

“But Zach Wilson thinks he’s hot sh*t and it’s everyone else who is the problem,” Chris Spooner tweeted.

“I’m old enough to remember when more than one legitimate NFL analyst opined that Wilson banging his mom’s friend would help him in the locker room,” Jimmy Traina said.

“Dude was terrible until BYU put a Power 5 team around him during the pandemic season,” Bill DeFilippo wrote.

“Lmao at a 6-4 team doing gait analysis on their QB to bury him,” Nathan Bernhardt wrote.

“What if Carson Wentz, but also much worse, and in New York,” Mike Tanier wondered.

The Jets are next in action on Sunday when they host the Chicago Bears.
