If you’ve ever seen Key & Peele, you know about their collection of all-timer football names. Sometimes, art imitates life as a name worthy of being included in the Annual East/West Collegiate Bowl was broadcast during the Bengals-Titans playoff game.
It may not be how he wanted people to know his name but after getting penalized for holding, the broadcast name dropped Titans wide receiver/special teams specialist Racey McMath and that got some people to go back and make sure they heard that right. Sure enough, Racey is in his rookie year at Tennessee and if you’re going to be an NFL wideout, “Racey” is a pretty cool name to have.
Social media had some fun with Racey McMath’s name and had some apt scenarios where someone could see that name.
Racey McMath?!
Sounds like a School House Rock character.

There was just a penalty called on Racey McMath which sounds like the condescending name a racecar driver would call his crew chief..
"You need to pit; we are down to .007 fuel capacity and the car is overheating by 4°"
OK. Racey McMath, whatever you say.

Sure. Just gloss over the name Racey McMath like he doesn't foil mysteries and tom foolery in addition to making special teams tackles.

Racey McMath sounds like the name of a roadrunner or cheetah or something who shows up on Blue's Clues to help teach your kids how to count.
