Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (1) waves as he leaves the field after defeating the New England Patriots during NFL game at Hard Rock Stadium Sunday in Miami Gardens. New England Patriots V Miami Dolphins 02

Tua Tagovailoa was due this type of day. Since arriving in Miami as their first-round draft choice three years ago, he has had to deal with injuries, multiple offensive coordinators, and many doubters. Well, doubt no more because Tua proved Sunday why the Dolphins made him their franchise quarterback.

In their 42-38 win, Tagovailoa threw for six touchdown passes, including the game-winner to former Alabama teammate Jaylen Waddle. Tagovailoa would end up passing for nearly 500 yards and six touchdowns and may have finally shut up his doubters who didn’t think he would be a good NFL quarterback.

The Tagovailoa supporters were in full force after the young quarterback’s come-from-behind victory. At one point, the Dolphins were behind 21 points, but then Tagovailoa got hot and the Dolphins had a 28 point fourth quarter to get the victory.

The NFL world was shocked and amazed by the young QB.

After this performance, a lot of people are saying that Tagovailoa has shut up his critics.

Lamar Jackson also had a good day for the Baltimore Ravens, but his defense failed him in the end.
