On the opening drive of the Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Chargers game, we got a reminder that football can be exciting but it can also be a dangerous game where players can get seriously hurt.

On 4th and goal, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert unleashed a pass to tight end Donald Parham Jr.. Parham wasn’t able to catch the ball and in the process of attempting the catch, fell hard to the ground. Things got scary when it appeared that Parham was knocked out and was laying motionless. With medical crews careful about moving Parham, he showed some movement in his arms and legs but left the field on a stretcher as the public awaits an update on his condition.

Many on social media sent their well wishes, prayers, and positive thoughts to Parham as everyone is hopeful his injuries aren’t as serious as it originally looked.
