For the past several seasons, star running back Nick Chubb has been one of the top running backs in the entire league and one of the most crucial pieces of the Cleveland Browns’ offense. But it looks like there’s a chance he won’t even be on the roster next season.

According to a report from league insider Marc Sessler of the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns are considering trading their star running back to make salary cap room.

“Little whispers the Browns could trade Nick Chubb to heal their cap. Explain to me how this team has tangibly improved over the last year,” Sessler said in a tweet on Monday afternoon.

It’s obviously massive news that the Browns might even be considering trading Chubb, who has been such an integral part of the team since he was selected by the team in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

And as a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about the possibility on Twitter.

Chubb has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his last four seasons. The only season he did not eclipse 1,000 yards on the ground was his rookie year in 2018 when he finished with 996 yards.
