Current Alabama coach Nick Saban was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins for two seasons in 2005 and 2006. From a football standpoint, his time in Miami was rather unmemorable as his teams had just a 15-17 combined record.

But in an appearance on “The Pivot Podcast,” former Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder shared one off-the-field memory that certainly might have stuck with Saban even after all these years.

Crowder revealed that he brought strippers into the team facility for his rookie talent show and had one of them perform for his head coach.

“I brought in a stripper and had her dance for Nick Saban,” Crowder said.

According to Crowder, Saban did not stick around long, reacting to the events in a way that would make his wife proud.

“I brought strippers in the Dolphins’ facility,” Crowder said. “She walked in with nothing but a thong on and a Jason Taylor jersey, and she went up there, and Nick Saban was on a chair and she went up and shook it for Nick Saban.”Nick Saban grabbed her hips, moved her to the side, and ran up the stairs.”

Crowder offered his own conjecture as to why Saban ran away from the situation, which was quite the explicit explanation.

“I know his d*** probably was hard,” Crowder said.

It’s probably safe to say this sort of thing doesn’t happen often at Alabama.
