More than halfway through the 2022-23 NFL football regular season, former All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still not on an NFL roster. While Beckham has seemed to show interest in a number of teams across the league, including a potential return to the New York Giants, one team seems to be causing quite a stir in its pursuit of the veteran receiver: the Dallas Cowboys.

With rumors swirling, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy addressed the speculation that the team could be interested in signing Odell Beckham Jr., saying that he was a “big fan” of the veteran receiver while not denying that the team was pursuing him.

Following McCarthy’s comments, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones added to the speculation with some more direct comments on Tuesday, indicating that the team was indeed willing to sign Odell Beckham Jr. and was excited about the possibility of him joining the roster.

“Odell is someone that we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor,” Jones said. “I know the Cowboys star on that helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good.”

It sure looks like OBJ could be headed to Dallas, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it.

Time will tell if Beckham actually ends up in Dallas. But it sure seems like they want him.
