If you’re a New York Giants fan, you’re probably holding your breath right about now after Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a lower leg injury against the Cleveland Browns in preseason action Monday night.
Beckham took a nasty-looking hit and went down to the ground, before eventually walking off the field. However, he collapsed to the ground in pain in the tunnel on the way to the locker room, and was carted off to reportedly get an x-ray on his ankle. It was also feared that he had a concussion but he reportedly passed those tests.

As for the knee, the Giants may be in the clear too.
The #Giants say WR Odell Beckham suffered a sprained ankle on that low hit. … which is better than a knee

That’s pretty nice considering how ugly the play looked. This also is the second time people have feared OBJ might have gotten injured on Monday. Earlier in the day, Odell Beckham Jr. did what everyone said not to do and looked directly into the sun during the eclipse.
"Even after looking at the eclipse, I still could see all these haters." 😂

Anyway right after OBJ was carted off, plenty of people took to Twitter to FREAK out.

Don't play him until the season opener

I literally drafted him an hour and a half ago. Please let it only be an ankle sprain.
