Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be one of the league’s most coveted free agents when he returns from an ACL suffer he suffered in February’s Super Bowl victory with the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham will have his pick of suitors, but two NFC East rivals are the early leaders in the clubhouse for Beckham’s services, according to his high school coach, Nelson Stewart.

Stewart told The New York Post that it’s “a coin flip” between the Dallas Cowboys and Beckham’s old team, the New York Giants.

“If I’m a betting man right now,” Stewart said “I’d flip a coin between New York and Dallas. It’s tight. But of all the teams I’ve heard about, the one that really resonates a little bit more is New York.

“And you can certainly say the Giants have the most intrigue with Odell’s old coach.”

Stewart added that Beckham has added “upper-body muscle” and is “stronger than he’s ever been” while rehabbing the injury.

Beckham last played for the Giants in 2019, when the franchise traded him to the Cleveland Browns following Beckham’s widely publicized trade demands. A return isn’t that far-fetched according to his old coach.

“Odell loved his time in New York,” Stewart said.
