The NFL Pro Bowl is still an incredibly stupid game and shouldn’t exist, although the league has spiced up a stupid weekend with a skills competition that did demonstrate a relative lack of football skills. The dodgeball game was fun for a few minutes, as was the fielding a football dropped from a drone event. But if more skills events were like what Odell Beckham and Marquette King did, we’d all be way more interested in the Pro Bowl.

That’s Odell Beckham fielding a punt from the world’s favorite punter Marquette King while wearing a sumo suit. If more players tried to return kicks or punts (or drone drops) while wearing a sumo suit, I’d be far more interested in the Pro Bowl. In fact, make everyone in the Pro Bowl wear sumo suits and try to play football. The quality of the game can’t be any worse than it normally is without them.

That game wouldn’t also be any worse than when Pro Bowlers were selected in a “fantasy draft”.
