Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t played in the NFL since suffering an ACL injury during the Los Angels Rams‘ Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals last year. But as a free agent, it looks like he could be eyeing a return to a different former team.

According to NFL insider Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, Beckham was with the New York Giants on Monday night “doing a little visit” with the Giants.

“I am told that WR Odell Beckham Jr. was in the building today, doing a little visit with the #Giants, etc……. Same day as former #Giants S Landon Collins worked out for the team. This will be fun,” Anderson said in a Tweet.

Anderson did clarify in subsequent Tweets that Beckham didn’t necessarily work out for the Giants on Monday, but she heavily implied there was interest in joining the Giants and that the visit wasn’t just to see his former teammate Sterling Shephard.

“OBJ was able to say hi to a number of his former teammates while in the area, including Sterling Shepard. For those asking, yes free agent opportunities in the future will include exploring multiple teams, including his last one. I think he’d welcome wherever he’s loved,” Anderson said in a Tweet.

“Lol. Never said he worked out or that he was hosted. Missing the point. If you think it’s all about Shep, then think that—-or—-you could look at the history of rapport. Again, obj has multiple interests—as he naturally would as a free agent. Sometimes, I say all I can say. GN,” Anderson said in a Tweet.

While this doesn’t mean Beckham is officially returning to the team, the NFL world certainly had plenty to say about the update.

Even though the Rams reportedly still have interest in re-signing Beckham, they might not have a chance if the former All-Pro receiver chooses another team first. And with a recent injury to Shephard, the Giants could certainly use him.
