It’s always sobering to be reminded how quickly the career of a professional athlete can come to an end. That’s exactly what took place with former superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday, with a tweet going viral after lamenting how quickly the wideout seemed to have been phased out of the league after sustaining one injury after another.
“Crazy how he faded out the league just like that,” the Tweet read in response to an announcement by the NFL from last season that Beckham Jr. and the Miami Dolphins had agreed to part ways.

However, it would appear that Beckham Jr. isn’t quite as finished as fans may have assumed. After the viral tweet, the former Pro Bowler responded with one of his own.
“Not done yet… thanks for hr concerns and have a blessed day.”
Fans reacted to Beckham Jr.’s message on social media.
“The worst thing he could do now is sign in Kansas City, the best thing he could do is sign in Buffalo,” one fan wrote on Twiter.
“Buddy it’s time to announce the signing with the Giants already stop playing with my heart,” someone else added.
“Wasted a great year for the Miami Dolphins in 2023 when it was supposed to be their playoff run. No one is concerned for you,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see which city Beckham Jr. lands with when he makes his return.
