America is divided in many ways. You can’t get us to agree on pretty much anything.

Take Thursday’s Cowboys-Redskins game. Two people might reasonably disagree on whether Dak Prescott should be MVP, whether Washington is for real, whether the Redskins’ nickname is racist and whether Jerry Jones has a soul.

Church, a seven-time Grammy-nominated country singer, performed a medley of hits for the AT&T Crowd, and it was bad even by notoriously low football-halftime-show standards.

It’s worth acknowledging that performing in a giant stadium is difficult—many people tweeted that Church is usually pretty good live—but the bottom line is that the performance was pretty much universally panned.

Ok, ok, Twitter isn’t always reflective of the broader public’s opinion, and surely there is someone out there who thought Church’s halftime performance was the best thing since Michael Jackson at the 1993 Super Bowl… but most of us seem to be on the same page here.
