Patrick Mahomes Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is among the highest-paid players in the NFL. And he certainly showed that off with a luxurious Christmas gift for his offensive lineman.

Mahomes has made it a yearly tradition to gift his offensive lineman a pretty spectacular gift each year. Last year each offensive lineman received TaylorMade golf clubs, custom bags, and boxes of golf balls for the entire position group.

He stepped his gift-giving up to a whole other level this year. Chiefs center Creed Humphrey and offensive tackle Donavan Smith took to social media to offer their appreciation for Mahomes’ gift this year, which happened to be brand new golf carts.

The carts feature the number of each offensive lineman on each side, a nice touch to make it a more personalized gift.

Fans took notice of his awesome gesture from Mahomes and praised him on social media for such a thoughtful gift.

Many of the offensive linemen are already putting these golf carts to work. Chiefs linebacker Willie Gay shared a hilarious video on Instagram while riding in one of the carts showing many of his teammates driving around the team facility.

It certainly makes sense for Mahomes to gift his offensive line something so luxerious, particularly because they have done such a good job of protecting Mahomes this season.

Of all starting quarterbacks in the NFL, only Josh Allen has been sacked less than Mahomes this season.

It certainly pays to be good at your job!
