The New England Patriots are playing the Atlanta Falcons this weekend in a game that will undoubtedly be dubbed as a Super Bowl rematch, even though the stakes will be much lower this time around. When the Falcons make the trip up north to face the Patriots, there will be plenty of reminders of their epic collapse in the Super Bowl in which the Patriots stormed back from a 28-3 deficit to capture the Vince Lombardi Trophy with a 34-29 victory in overtime.

Among the reminders of the Super Bowl will be an exclusively designed pair of Air Force 1s from Nike. But this is no ordinary pair of Air Force 1s. This pair is made out of an actual game ball from the Super Bowl. Nike really paid attention to detail with this pair of kicks by using the laces from the football for the shoe’s laces and positioning the Super Bowl logo in just the right spot at the toe of the shoes.

It truly is a one-of-a-kind shoe. This is the only pair in existence, and the Patriots will auction off the shoes after putting them on display in Gillette Stadium this weekend. The proceeds from the auction will go to fund the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. How much this shoe is expected to go for at auction is unknown, but it will be the crown jewel of any Patriots fan or Nike collector out there looking to add to their collection. Here’s hoping the winning bid comes in with an ironic number that includes a “28” and a “3.” That is the only acceptable outcome for shoes like these.
