The Week 2 Sunday Night Football clash between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks was a classic that came down to the final play, but in the end, New England came up just short. Down 35-30, the Patriots got the ball on their own 19 with 1:42 left, and they drove all the way to the Seahawks’ one-yard line, but it wasn’t quite enough. New England’s penultimate play saw receiver N’Keal Harry brought down inside the one, and their final play saw quarterback Cam Newton stopped by Seattle defensive end L.J. Collier. That’s quite the finish, and one that almost went the other way. And it’s interesting seeing that between these two teams, especially considering how Super Bowl XLIX ended with the Seahawks failing on a similar final drive.
