New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones has had his fair share of struggles this year in his second NFL season, and it appears that he may now be losing the locker room following a horrific loss on Sunday to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown let his feeling be known about the young quarterback with some very intriguing activity on social media.
The former Pro Bowler liked an Instagram post suggesting that the Patriots should call former quarterbacks Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo this upcoming offseason to potentially take Jones’ starting position next year.

This is certainly a bad look for Trent Brown, but it is certainly hard to blame him considering how Jones’ season has gone thus far in New England this year.
Mac Jones notably has been benched multiple times this year to unheralded rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe.
While he did regain the starting spot, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing since that time. He has had a number of sideline outbursts in games due to issues with some of the Patriots’ play calls.
The Patriots’ issues at the moment appear to go much further than Mac Jones, but it is hard to argue that Jones has shown much to be impressed with this year.
He currently has more interceptions thrown on the season than touchdown passes, and now there appear to be teammates that think it is best that he does not return as the starter next year.
