The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the most disappointing seasons in 2025 relative to expectations. The Eagles entered the season as the reigning Super Bowl champions after completely dismantling the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, things never quite clicked this season, especially on offense. Quarterback Jalen Hurts’s production took a dip this season, leading to some very public frustration from star wide receiver A.J. Brown. Running back Saquon Barkley also saw his numbers slide this year.
Although Philadelphia was able to overcome thier struggles enough to win the NFC East, its season came to a close after losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round.
Now, some serious changes are coming to the staff, according to one prominent league insider.
“The #Eagles have informed offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo they’re making a change at the position, sources tell me and (Ian Rapoport). The search for another OC for Jalen Hurts begins soon,” reported NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Garafolo followed up with some more details surrounding Patullo’s situation in Philadelphia, which remains fluid.

It’ll be interesting to see who the Eagles and head coach Nick Sirianni replace Patullo with.
