The Las Vegas Raiders are scrambling right now. Even before Sunday’s embarassing 31-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, little had been going right for the Raiders this season, with quarterback Geno Smith struggling to protect the ball.
Last year, legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady joined the organization, and the belief was that Brady would be able to help establish a winning culture that has been missing from the fabric of the franchise since even before it relocated to the desert.
However, Sunday’s loss showed how, in that regard, Brady is failing astronomically, and that fact was even acknowledged by one of the Raiders’ budding stars.
“If we were being honest, it’s been a losing culture around here for a long time,” rookie running back Ashton Jeanty said in the locker room to reporters.

Fans reacted to the damning statement on social media.
“Lmao Tom Brady can’t save them,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“As a giants fan, I loved when malik nabers spoke up about the losing culture last year. We’re not very good this year, but I’m glad changes were made and we have potential. Raiders fans should be happy their star player in jeanty is speaking up. It forces change,” one person added.
“Can’t be fun to be drafted by a team who has never once been even decent in the entire time youve been alive,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Brady can eventually help get things turned around.
