St. Louis Rams punter Johnny Hekker tossed a blindside cheap shot at Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril on Sunday, and immediately regretted it.

Fearing retaliation for the hit, Hekker hilariously cowered when he saw Avril and fellow Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett getting near him on a punt later in the game.

Pretty embarrassing series of events for Hekker, and that will probably be the last cheap shot he puts on anyone in the NFL. He also has to be dreading that the Rams play the Seahawks twice again next year.

This is not going to help the world of punters and kickers with stereotypes either.
