Randy Gregory made headlines last week when, after the Dallas Cowboys announced they had re-signed the defensive end, he changed his mind and signed with the Denver Broncos instead. Given that he was coming off arguably his best season in five years with the Cowboys, it was a big loss for Jerry Jones‘ team.

The Cowboys reportedly insisted on “contract language” that Gregory did not like as it seemed to pertain to his previous drug suspensions, so he made his decision to head to Denver instead. Gregory’s agent said that the Cowboys tried to slip in language about being able to void Gregory’s guarantees in the event of a fine into the contract at the last minute. That was enough to make him take the same deal with the Broncos instead.

Gregory has been suspended by the league four times, including the entire 2019 season, for violating its substance-abuse policy.

On Sunday, Gregory took to Twitter and let loose on both the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones about the negotiations.

In response to one fan’s tweet, the Bronco said that Jones “acted in bad faith.”

He also responded to another tweet criticizing Cowboys fans.

And he also responded to another Cowboys fan by referring to them as a “toxic” fanbase.

Finally, as if to wrap up his sentiments, Gregory tweeted that “Y’all opinions don’t pay my bills.”

So there you have it. If and when the Broncos play the Cowboys, don’t expect too much love lost between the two sides.
