Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has found himself involved in off-the-field trouble throughout his career. However, in terms of his production on the field, Hill has been one of the best wide receivers since entering the league.
Now, one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the game is giving his unfiltered opinion on where Hill stands, and his words aren’t exactly the nicest.
“I think it’s going to be pretty interesting,” Randy Moss said of the new look Dolphins, per The Spun. “Bringing Minkah [Fitzpatrick] back, trading Jalen [Ramsey] — with all the drama and things off the field that’s been going on, I’m just looking for a big year for this offense — Tua [Tagovailoa] and Tyreek Hill, mainly.”
Then Moss gave his opinion on where Hill stands in the pantheon of NFL receivers, and that’s where things took a turn for the worse regarding Hill.
“He’s nowhere all-time,” Moss stated. “Where is he at in today’s game? Tyreek Hill is probably top five. I put him top five.”
Fans reacted to Moss’s words on social media.
“He quit on his team last year as a captain. All his antics aren’t funny anymore now that he’s breaking down. Hes gonna be the wr2 there very shortly,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Better players did it better when things were harder. It’s not a difficult concept to understand. The current game is soft compared to what it used to be. Stats only matter in context,” someone else added.
“he had a down year last year so i get that but in 22-23 he was top dog . 4X’s he was named all pro (18, 20, 22-23) so that right there put him top 2 . Down year last year. Moss knows he can light it up this year,” another fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Hill shows that he’s still one of the best in the business this upcoming season.
