Ravens safety Matt Elam is in some pretty serious trouble.
The 25-year-old Florida alum was reportedly arrested Saturday night in Miami and charged with one count of cannabis possession, one count of possession of cannabis with intent to sell or deliver, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of reckless driving.
Elam reportedly had 126.2 grams of marijuana. For those of you not quick on your metric-system conversions, that’s 4.5 ounces and more than a quarter of a pound. Police also found six oxycodone pills. Elam is being held on $15,500 bond.
According to ESPN, Elam was pulled over after speeding past an unmarked police car, then swerving in front of it. He briefly attempted to evade police, and when he eventually stopped, police smelled marijuana and saw a cloud of smoke.
This arrest comes at a poor time for Elam, who was selected No. 32 overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He will become a free agent next month, after the Ravens declined to pick up his option. Baltimore announced Sunday that the safety will not be returning to the team next year.
Ravens statement on safety Matt Elam: "We are aware of the arrest of Matt Elam. Matt is not in our plans for the 2017 Ravens."

As for the odds another NFL team takes a shot at Elam anytime soon, the statistics don’t look so promising.
Matt Elam has as many career arrests as he does career INT's. Also more grams of weed were found on him (126) than career tackles (88).
