Former star tight end Rob Gronkowski has already come out of retirement once and has long left the door open for a potential return to the NFL despite his second retirement. But it appears that the door is now closed.

During an interview with TMZ Sports this week, Rob Gronkowski was asked if he was still open to a potential return to the NFL. And he pretty clearly shot down any possibility, saying that there’s “no chance” he chooses to come out of retirement this time.

“There’s no chance anymore. I’m happily retired. I actually picked up pickleball,” Gronkowski told TMZ. “I’m happily retired.”

Gronkowski noted that his recent hobby of pickleball has helped him fill the competitive void left by football.
