Rob Gronkowski has already come out of retirement once, deciding to reunite with former New England Patriots teammate Tom Brady with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after initially electing to retire in 2019.

After two seasons with the Bucs, Gronkowski retired again in 2021. But with Brady now planning to return next season after also initially retiring, some have speculated that Gronkowski might return to the NFL once again, including his girlfriend Camille Kostek.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit during Miami Swim Week, the SI Swimsuit veteran model said she’s not convinced that Gronkowski’s retirement is permanent.

“I am an honest lady, and honestly, in my heart, I didn’t feel like this one is a forever one. So, I think maybe he’ll come back again,” Kostek told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “I feel like him and Tom are just having fun like, ‘Retired, not retired, retired, not retired.’”

Gronkowski, however, insists that he is sidelined for good and would not come out of retirement even if Brady tried to lure him back.

“I’m done with football. Love the game. Love the game. And definitely blessed with all the opportunities the game of football has given me,” Gronkowski told ESPN NFL reporter Mike Reiss. “But done with football and stepping my feet into the business world and business ventures.”
