Robert Griffin III is setting the record straight after a Twitter account pretending to be his ex-wife Rebecca claimed the Cleveland Browns quarterback cheated on her during their marriage.

Just a few days after Griffin III and heptathlete girlfriend Grete Sadeiko had their wallets stolen in Cleveland, a Twitter user using the QB’s ex-wife’s name posted malicious statements saying he cheated on her, before filing for divorce.

The account posted multiple cheating claims, calling Griffin III out for being a manipulator, a liar and hitting up girls in the DM’s on Instagram.

Now, usually this type of trolling doesn’t elicit a response, but it must have seriously irked Griffin III. He used his own Twitter account to dismiss the claims and called out the account for posting fake rumors.

Griffin III should know better than to fight with fake Twitter accounts, but considering it’s claiming to be his ex-wife and spreading falsities about their marriage, it’s hard to blame him for setting the record straight. The account has since been deleted.
