Roger Goodell receives boos yet again on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft began on Friday night, and a tradition of the draft also continued with fans vigorously booing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Goodell came out to kick off the second day of the draft. As he walked to the podium, he received a chorus of boos from the fans in Kansas City, Missouri.

He clearly saw this coming and even egged the fans on to boo even louder.

“Come on, that’s it” said Goodell as he began raising his hands to urge the fans to get louder.

Goodell certainly isn’t the most popular person amongst NFL fans. For this reason, the NFL world largely loved the crowd booing him loudly and took to social media to do so as well.

The dedication of the fans in Kansas City is certainly commendable. They showered Goodell boos on Thursday night as well ahead of him announcing the No. 1 overall pick.

It is a tradition that has followed Goodell for quite some time. Ever since he began his NFL Commissioner role in 2006 he has received this reaction at the NFL Draft.

Luckily at this point it seems like he is embracing it and even using it as a weird kind of endearment from fans. Regardless, fans certainly voice their opinion on exactly how they feel about him year in and year out.
