Ever since the Arizona Cardinals selected former Purdue Boilermakers star wide receiver Rondale Moore in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he’s had some rough injury luck, missing 12 games over his first two seasons in the league. But he’s trying to bounce back from that this season.

During an interview this week, Rondale Moore opened up about the injuries that have kept him sidelined throughout his young NFL career and stressed that the injuries are not a result of his work ethic, but simply something out of his control.

“It is what it is. I work my tail off every day. I do what I’m supposed to do,” Moore said according to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com. “It’s just been an unfortunate turn of events and I haven’t been able to get it done. But at the end of the day, I know that I’ve done everything in my power to be out there. So hopefully that table turns and we get that narrative out the way.”

Despite missing nine games last season, Moore still finished with 414 receiving yards on the year, so he’s proven himself as a receiver. If he’s healthy all year, it will be interesting to see what kind of numbers he can put up, especially in this revamped receiving corps.
