Last year, the Denver Broncos completed a blockbuster deal with the Seattle Seahawks that sent veteran quarterback Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick to Denver in return for three players and five draft picks. And with all of those draft picks now utilized, we now have a clearer picture of what that trade looks like – and it looks pretty bad for Wilson and the Broncos.

Denver Broncos beat reporter Zac Stevens gave a full breakdown of the trade in a tweet on Friday night.

“The completed Broncos-Seahawks trade for Russell Wilson:

Broncos got:
Russell Wilson
Eyioma Uwazurike (2022 4th)

Seahawks got:
Charles Cross (2022 1st)
Devon Witherspoon (’23 1st)
Boye Mafe (’22 2nd)
Derick Hall (’23 2nd)
Tyreke Smith (’22 5th)
Noah Fant
Shelby Harris
Drew Lock,” Stevens said in a tweet.

Based on the way Wilson has played since arriving in Denver, that trade looks absolutely brutal in hindsight. And the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter as a result.

Wilson had the worst season of his entire career last season for the Broncos. The team will undoubtedly hope that he performs better this upcoming season and makes this trade look at least a little better for the Denver Broncos.
