We’ve seen Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson take some pretty tough hits so far this season. One hit during Sunday’s Seahawks-San Francisco 49ers game might have taken the cake.

During the NFC West matchup, Wilson was hit by a 49er defensive player. While in the midst of being hit, Wilson’s leg bends as if it should break. Despite suffering what would appear to be a devastating injury, Wilson stayed in the game. Wilson was eventually taken out in the third quarter, when the Seahawks were already leading 27-3.

The Seahawks ended up winning Sunday’s game 37-17 against the 49ers. Wilson was seen on the sideline with a brace on his left knee. Wilson was already playing with a high ankle sprain on his right ankle so if it’s up to him, he will be out there playing next week.
