The Cleveland Browns are desperate to get out of their seemingly endless quarterback purgatory. With Deshaun Watson suffering a setback in his recovery from his Achilles injury, there are still major question marks on how the organization will address the position.
Cleveland has already traded for Kenny Pickett, and the expectation is that Pickett will compete in camp for the starting job. The Browns may also elect to address the position in the draft, with former Colorado Buffaloes star Shedeur Sanders emerging as a potential option for the franchise.
Now, another potential option has emerged for the franchise, according to one prominent NFL insider.
“A rare QB visit: #Steelers former starter Russell Wilson is scheduling a visit to the #Browns this week, per me and (Tom Pelissero). A potential option in Cleveland,” reported NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

“Lmao watch him win the starting job in Cleveland and browns sweep the Steelers next season with him starting,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“As a Steelers fan that’s prob their best option, and then draft a qb and let him sit under Russ,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Wilson does indeed go on to end up in Cleveland.
