The Denver Broncos made a blockbuster trade with the Seattle Seahawks on March 8 to acquire star quarterback Russell Wilson. Denver had a win-now roster otherwise, and now they have a quarterback that immediately puts them in the Super Bowl 57 contention mix (and gives them a chance to compete in a loaded AFC West).

And on Monday night, Wilson shared a video on social media that shows off his tremendous ability as a passer.

Wilson posted a video that shows him throwing dimes — in the dark — to Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, and included the following caption:

“Wilson to Jeudy.
Rain or Shine.
Morning or Night.”

Here’s the video, which Broncos fans might watch on repeat until September:

Jeudy was limited to 10 games in 2021 after suffering a high ankle sprain, and spending his first two NFL seasons in an offense quarterbacked by Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Locke didn’t help the receiver’s production. He’s an extremely talented wide receiver that won the Biletnikoff Award in 2018 at Alabama before being selected with the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Broncos. Having a quarterback like Wilson may help Jeudy reach his potential, and developing that chemistry months before the season certainly helps those chances.

The Broncos have a loaded wide receiver depth chart, with Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and Tim Patrick leading the way. This is sure to be a receiving corps that gets more national attention now that they have a quarterback who can get them the ball, and for explosive plays.

Wilson, 33, battled a finger injury — and trade rumors — in 2021, but he still put together very efficient numbers in 14 games as a passer: 25 touchdowns, six interceptions, and 103.05 passer rating.

If the video Wilson posted is any indication, he appears to be healthy now, and maybe he can take his production to another level in the 2022 season.
