There has been a lot said since Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill said he had no intentions of helping rookie quarterback Malik Willis when he joins the team.

Several people have given their thoughts on the situation, including Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, who thought Tannehill was being a bit too harsh towards the rookie and should be more open to helping the young player adjust.

Another player who chimed in with their thoughts was Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Tony Jefferson, who also thought that Tannehill should be open to the idea of helping Willis.

Jefferson also thinks that Tannehill’s comments toward Willis may have lost him the locker room.

NFL Hall of Famer Charles Woodson also seems to think that it was a mistake by Tannehill to make that comment.

This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened, just the latest. Joe Montana and Steve Young reportedly never got along while the two were with the San Francisco 49ers. In fact to this day, the pair aren’t even friends. Montana would admit later in interviews that, like Tannehill, he didn’t like the idea of Young replacing him, which eventually he did when Montana was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

To this day, fans still discuss who really was the greatest 49er quarterback of all time and it would be an easy argument for both.
