New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara was arrested back in February following the Pro Bowl. At that time, Kamara was charged with felony battery resulting in substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor conspiracy to commit battery around an incident outside a hotel elevator the night before the game . While nothing has come of this in terms of a suspension from the NFL, a shocking new video emerged of the altercation on Saturday morning.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Kamara can be seen punching Darnell Greene multiple times, and then kicking him while he is down, with a number of other men.
The altercation resulted in a number of significant injuries to Greene, including a facial fracture to his right orbital bone.
This video comes after Greene revealed that he would be suing Kamara for a whopping $10 million for the altercation.
Kamara is due to be back in court for a hearing on the case next week, and this video certainly does not bode well for him.
Many took to social media to voice their opinion on this disturbing incident on Saturday.
I don’t think this video necessarily changes things in regard to the facts of the case for Alvin Kamara, but we’ve seen the NFL be spurred into action by leaked footage before. https://t.co/2YlSuCmzxL

So video finally leaks. We will see if NFL takes action soon. To Kamara's benefit, it's a short clip and not particularly good video so maybe public outcry isn't as much.https://t.co/l2gG7uAUVN

One thing that may be a benefit to Kamara is that this video is extremely blurry and not entirely clear.
That being said, you can very clearly see him involved in the incident and throwing punches at the defendant.
It was always expected that Kamara would likely receive a suspension at some point for the altercation, but this video may speed up the NFL’s timeline for a suspension.
The Saints are coming off a dominant 24-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend, where Kamara starred in the matchup, totaling 158 yards with three touchdowns in the game.
It remains to be seen what actions will be taken by the NFL, but this certainly does not bode well for Alvin Kamara moving forward.
