Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate with loved ones, and troll those who deserve it as well.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is doing more of the latter after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 38-35, win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday. Specifically, toward Eagles cornerback James Bradberry on a questionable holding call that occurred.
On Tuesday, Smith-Schuster tweeted “Happy Valentine’s Day everybody,” followed by a red heart emoji, but below that was a meme’d Valentine’s Day card with a photo of Bradberry smiling, with the phrase: “I’ll hold you when it matters most.”

Oof.
With the Chiefs facing a very key 3rd-and-8 play at the 15-yard line towards the end of the fourth quarter on Sunday, Bradberry was called for defensive holding against Smith-Schuster.
Thoughts on that holding call? 🤔pic.twitter.com/LqEH8zgey2

With the teams tied at 35, this gave the Chiefs first-and-10 at the 11-yard line, giving them a chance at a field goal.
Needless to say, it was a crucial call and changed the entire direction of the game’s final moments. Bradberry went on after the game to say he was correctly flagged for holding Smith-Schuster and tugging on his jersey.
Love hurts.
