The feel-good stories are very hard to come by these days, but Pittsburgh Steelers star running back James Conner provided one on Saturday.

Conner bought a new house for his mother, Kelly Bibbs, and shared video of her reaction on social media. He included a caption saying, “You’ve sacrificed so much and we can’t thank you enough! You’re the reason I go to work day in and day out, to finally give you a place you can call Home.”

This comes less than a month after Conner surprised his dad with a new truck.

Conner has had 16 rushing touchdowns and averaged 4.4 yards per carry over his first three NFL seasons, after being a third-round pick in the 2017 draft out of Pittsburgh. The 25-year-old has one year left on his four-year, $3.16 million rookie deal, and — while free-agency can be cruel to running backs — will likely see a nice bump in pay for his next contract.
