Stefon Diggs is heading into what should be his first season back in the AFC East since his days playing with the Buffalo Bills, only now as a member of the New England Patriots.
However, a video recently went viral on social media where Diggs is seen giving what seems to be drugs of some sort to three women on a boat. In the aftermath of the video, Diggs wasn’t present for the start of the Patriots’ OTAs.
Now, it appears that Diggs suiting up for the Pats this season isn’t as much of a sure thing as many expected, according to NBC Sports Boston.
“I came to the show yesterday with the knowledge that (Stefon Diggs getting cut) is on the table,” reported Scott Zolak.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“He boutta have the most annoying 700 yard season in Patriots history,” one fan wrote on Twitter of what he expects from Diggs this season.
“I mean, winning the super bowl is on the table too.But we all know that’s not gonna happen,” one fan added on Twitter.
“First off, Zolak knows as much as I do. Second, it wasn’t even coke. It was a lighter and rolled up joints. This becoming a story is a total joke and anyone pushing it is making themself look foolish,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Diggs ever gets to play with the Patriots.
