The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have gone through a variety of uniform changes. From their now-iconic creamsicle white and orange look from their first 20 years (which might be coming back) to their red, black, and pewter style, the Buccaneers aren’t afraid of change when it comes to their uniforms.

The Buccaneers have unveiled their latest look ahead of the 2020 NFL season and these look rather sharp.

The first thing you notice is that the numbering is back to being more conventional for the average NFL team. The number pattern from their Nike Elite jerseys incorporated pirate blades and kind of looked like a calculator but the team has reverted back to what they used to have.

I must say, these look pretty good. The Bucs’ home jersey reminds me of their Super Bowl XXXVII win while the away and Color Rush jerseys feature a more conventional throwback take than what they wore in recent years but still maintain a modern look. It’s the best of both worlds.

The Buccaneers noted that their launch video was created before Chris Godwin offered Tom Brady his #12 so he’s wearing his now old number but in a way it’s a nice preview for fans who have already purchased Tom Brady jerseys.
