Taylor Swift was in attendance for Monday night’s showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in support of her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce. But not everyone was too happy with the outfit she chose to wear to the game.
When Taylor arrived at the stadium, she was wearing a pair of black jean shorts and a tank top with an oversized Kansas City Chiefs leather jacket.
It seemed like a rather simple outfit at first glance, but she had some rather expensive touches with a black Dior bag and a pair of knee-high Christian Louboutin boots – not exactly what your average football fan would be wearing to a game.

Needless to say, due in large part to the lavish nature of some of her luxury items – especially the boots which retail for more than $2,000 – many fans seemed to think this outfit was not all that appropriate to attend a football game.
“Looks like she’s making a stop before going somewhere else. Not really dressed for a football game,” a fan wrote in response to the outfit on Reddit.
“Always needs a glam team though. It’s like any other appearance. Not there for him, not there for the love of the game, just there for the cameras,” someone else added.
“This feels totally inappropriate for a football game. The boots especially. It just feels like she’s trying too hard,” another fan quipped.
“She’s dressed for skiing,” another fan joked.
“I just think it’s weird that she dresses for the daytime at night and the nighttime in the middle of the day,” someone else said.
“Just wear a Chiefs hoodie and let it be, lol,” another fan said.
Obviously, these are just normal, everyday fans giving their opinions on the pop star’s outfit, but it’s pretty clear that not everyone was a fan of her outfit.
The good news for Taylor and the Chiefs is that the team was able to pull off a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to improve to 8-0 on the season.
