Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went through quite an ordeal earlier this month after what appeared to be a leaked document from a PR firm suggested that their relationship was simply a publicity stunt and detailed a plan for the couple to “break up” on Sept. 28. The document has been revealed to be a forgery, and it sounds like Travis Kelce is furious about it.
The falsified document included the letterhead for Full Scope PR, which represents Travis Kelce. However, the LA-based PR firm quickly denied the validity of the document and threatened legal action.
“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the group said in a statement.
And it sounds like they weren’t the only ones upset by the incident.
The U.S. Sun reports that the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end was extremely about the whole situation.
“He got upset and [furious] about that fake contract,” the insider told the U.S. Sun.
The source said that while both Swift and Kelce understand the publicity that they receive, they both think that the fake contract crossed a line.
“They both know that tons of spotlights are on them and that all their moves and things are being scrutinized,” the source said. “But people can’t do fake contracts.”
Needless to say, Kelce’s outrage sparked a lot of reactions from fans online.
“They just need to ignore it. I know that can be hard at times, but it is their life, and they just have to go about it the way they want,” one fan said in the comments of the story.
“The problem is so many people online start the stupidest stories cause they are jealous of others,” another person commented.
“Why can’t people leave these 2 alone. pick on somebody else. I hope they get the people that did this,” another fan commented.
“There is no way anyone would spend over a year with someone being intimate for a fake relationship that makes absolutely no sense at all,” another person wrote in the comments.
“I kinda feel his pain. and anger,” another person wrote.
Clearly, many people share Kelce’s outrage.
