It seems that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have welcomed a new member to their family.
During a recent appearance on the Fitz & Whit podcast, Travis Kelce’s brother Jason shared a story in which he subtly revealed that his brother got a new pet that ultimately led to the destruction of some pretty pricey furniture.
“He had these couches and they were like green velvet. Like over-the-top couches. I’m like – I’m not gonna say the dollar amount – but I’m like dude, what are these couches?” Jason said on the podcast.
“Oh, it’s an Italian designer,” Jason said.
“Let’s call them $100,000 a piece,” Fitzpatrick joked in response.
“He said, ‘It’s an investment.’ I’m like, ‘Travis…'” Kelce continued. “I’m like ‘Travis, this thing is not retaining [value].'”
Turns out, Jason was right, thanks in large part to a new addition to the household.
“I came back maybe 6 months after that and I come back and one of the couches is like pushed up against the wall,” Jason recalls. “I’m like why did you move the couch?”
Jason said Travis pulled back the couch to reveal some rather extensive damage caused by a puppy.
“He just got a puppy,” Jason said. “The puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.”
Of course, the major part of the story is the extraordinarily expensive couches that were destroyed, but Jason also casually revealed something previously unknown – Travis recently got a puppy to add to the family with Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift, of course, has always been more of a cat person. She has three cats named Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button – all of whom have appeared extensively on her social media and even in her music videos.
We’ll have to see whether or not the new puppy ever shows up on social media.
