Rumors have been circulating in recent days that music megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have been “quietly hanging out” in recent months.

Travis Kelce’s brother, Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, refused to comment about the status of that potential relationship in a recent interview.

Now, a TikTok user has produced a wild conspiracy theory that some have taken to mean there’s more to this presumed relationship than meets the eye.

TikTok user, “stan.hathaway” (aka Grace Weissend) posted Wednesday that she believes Swift, a Pennsylvania native and Eagles fan, has been dating Kelce in order to mess with him as a way to screw up the Kansas City Chiefs’ chances of repeating as Super Bowl champions and clearing the way for the Eagles to win this time.

This supposed theory also hinges on the notion that Swift is getting revenge for the Chiefs beating the Eagles in the Super Bowl last season.

“So, all this to say, Taylor Swift, you’re not slick,” she said. “I see what you’re doing and I don’t like it. Go Chiefs.”

It’s a fun little theory but if the Chiefs and Eagles do indeed make it back to the Super Bowl for a rematch, you better believe that someone is going to resurface this video and make the Kelce brothers respond. And if the Eagles win this time, perhaps we’ll have to rethink how much of a theory this actually is.
