The Houston Texans are retooling in a major way. Following quarterback C.J. Stroud’s breakout rookie season, the Texans offense took a step back last season in Stroud’s sophomore campaign.

Now, the Texans are making major changes up and down their roster in order to get things back on track. One major change to Houston’s roster came on Monday, according to one prominent NFL insider.

“Per multiple reports, the Texans have traded left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders,” reported Pro Football Talk.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport broke down the terms of the trade.

“The full terms: — A 2nd rounder and a fourth rounder next year to the #Texans, plus a third rounder this year. — Houston sends back a fourth rounder and Laremy Tunsil.”

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Man. We decimated our picks for him back in the day, I guess we had to get them picks back,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“The gas mask was the best thing to happen to the Dolphins the last decade, forever a Dolphins legend,” one fan added.

“Wow, Washington isn’t playing around unlike the Cowboys who have done nothing,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see what other moves the Texans make this off-season.
