It wasn’t bad enough for the Dallas Cowboys that they lost 17-9 to the Philadelphia Eagles, they are currently stuck in Philadelphia due to their charter flight being “not viable” to fly home, according to ProFootballTalk. It was later reported by NFL Network’s Jane Slater that the plane had “mechanical issues” and the team is stuck in Philly until another plane shows up.
#Cowboys source tells me the team’s charter plane has mechanical issues. So for the time being, they are stuck in Philly until they can find another. Can’t make this up

Don’t get me wrong, Philadelphia is a lovely city but I’m sure the Cowboys want to go home as soon as possible after the game they had. It has also led to many jokes at the Cowboys’ expense given that this plane fiasco is an apt metaphor for how the Cowboys have played.

The functional plane wasn't sidelined, it just wasn't in the Cowboys' rotation https://t.co/cxtvtF6e1v

Garrett on addressing the planes mechanical problem. “ the most important thing we need to do is believe in ourselves and the airline, that they will get this straightened out”
