It’s hard to even keep track of all of the maintenance issues at the Oakland Coliseum. The latest one comes thanks to heavy rainfall in the bay area.

On Sunday, the visiting team’s tunnel — which belonged to the Kansas City Chiefs on this day — had rain coming down excessively. This leak was particularly concerning given the amount of electrical wires that could’ve been soaked by the water. To make matters worse, the Oakland defense was almost as leaky as its stadium.

There have been plenty of issues at the Coliseum. One instance came this summer when plumbing issues hit the visiting dugout, which that day belonged to the New York Yankees.

While no one would want to see something like this happen, this only strengthens the argument of those who say the Raiders should leave Oakland for Las Vegas, which seems more and more likely. However, the Raiders will stay in Oakland through 2019. So be prepared for more stories about structural issues at this run-down stadium.
