It is a tradition for a championship sports team to present the President of the United States with a ceremonial jersey and some other trinkets when visiting the White House. It has been going on for years. Donald Trump has already welcomed a few championship teams to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue this year since being sworn in as president with Clemson, the Chicago Cubs, and the New England Patriots stopping by.

In addition to the traditional gifts to the president, the Patriots went so far as to give Trump a Super Bowl ring, a gift from Patriots owner and Trump supporter Robert Kraft.

And you’ll absolutely love who spilled the beans on Trump’s Super Bowl ring if you have been following the political headlines. Former White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, who once threatened to fire anyone who leaked any information form within the administration, informed a Twitter user in an exchange about Trump’s Super Bowl ring.

Now, the next time Trump gets together for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, they can show off their Patriots Super Bowl rings. You may recall Putin currently possesses one of Kraft’s Super Bowl rings from earlier in New England’s NFL dominance. At least this ring given to Trump’s was intended to belong to Trump, whereas Putin walked away with Kraft’s Super Bowl ring through a supposed misunderstanding.
