The Baltimore Ravens took down the Cleveland Browns 47-42 in an absolutely wild game on Monday Night Football. It’s a Game of the Year contender, and finished in appropriately bonkers fashion. The final several minutes featured an incredible amount of crazy plays and storylines, but we’re going to focus on the final seconds that created an amazing bad beat.

The game was tied 42-42 with seven seconds left, when Ravens kicker Justin Tucker lined up for a 55-yard field goal. Well, Tucker nailed the field goal (as he usually does).

The Ravens were favored by three points at many sportsbooks, so that kick was significant to some.

But wait… still two seconds on the clock! The Browns ran the ol’ “lateral the heck out of the ball and hope for the best” play, and ended up in the back of their own end zone. That’s a safety, and that’s a 47-42 final. And that’s a BAD beat!

With the game on ESPN, that led to a handoff to Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter with SVP. And the Bad Beat master had an awesome reaction to the finish.

This comes just two weeks after there was another unbelievable bad beat in a Monday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles (and that also featured a hilarious reaction from SVP).
