This is what happens when you enter a season with Blaine Gabbert as your incumbent start at QB.

Thanks to odds from Cantor Technology, the San Francisco 49ers in their first season under Chip Kelly’s watch are not favored to win any game this season.

They’re a pick ’em three times this season: against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, the New Orleans Saints in Week 9, and the New York Jets in Week 14, with all of those games at Levi’s Stadium. Should the Jets re-sign Ryan Fitzpatrick, the 49ers probably won’t be favored against the Jets either.

Lesson to all current and future NFL head coaches and general managers: Starting Blaine Gabbert is a terrible idea, and if you do that, you’re a contender to finish 0-16. Don’t do it.
