The Vikings are battling for an NFC wild card slot, with today’s game in Detroit essentially being a must-win. Detroit hasn’t been great this season, but they were about to take a lead into halftime when Minnesota lined up for a Hail Mary attempt.

Yes, of course it’s Rudolph, everyone on Twitter who raced to make their Christmas-themed jokes. It was a weirdly routine completion, though, given the circumstances. Rudolph may as well have been running an open inside slant route for as much trouble as he had making the play.
