The Las Vegas Raiders are viewed as one of the most likely landing spots if Tom Brady continues playing.

Raiders great Tim Brown would prefer the G.O.A.T. quarterback not suit up in black-and-silver. Speaking on the Maggie & Perloff show on CBS Sports Radio and SiriusXM Wednesday, the Hall of Fame wide receiver said Las Vegas signing Brady is a bad idea.

“I don’t think Tom Brady should be in the plans at all,” Brown said. “But, because of that relationship, I think that’s a possibility.”

Brown expounded on his thoughts with what has become a familiar refrain among many NFL observers this year: The 45-year-old Brady is showing his age.

“Well, I think he’s starting to show that he’s 45-46 years old,” Brown said. “His inability to move — when you look at the quarterbacks in the league today you have very few who are pocket quarterbacks. Joe Burrow is probably the closest thing you get, but God knows when it’s time to run, he can get out of the pocket and make it happen.”

“Tom Brady is never gonna do that. I just don’t believe in this league, and yeah, Tom has won all these Super Bowls, but I just think the league is moving to a point where you have to have a quarterback that’s able to move around and get some things done with his feet every once in awhile.”

Obviously, no one knows what Brady has planned next season — even Brady himself, who went on a profane rant Monday when asked his plans. One oddsmaker lists the Raiders as the favorite to sign Brady if he keeps playing. Other possible destinations that have been mentioned include the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.
